Get ready for wagging tails and happy, wet dogs at Ghent Square’s Last Dog Day of Summer on Sunday, Sept. 28 from 4 PM to 6 PM. Located at the Ghent Square Community Association Pool (852 Mowbray Arch), this popular community gathering promises an afternoon of furry festivities for dogs and their owners alike.
For just $5 per dog (their human companions are free), pups will have access to swim in the pool or wader pool. This is a dogs-only swimming event.
All dogs attending the event must be up to date on their vaccinations. All well-behaved dogs are welcome. Donations are non-refundable. This event is weather-dependent. If the event is canceled due to inclement weather, your registration will become a donation to the Norfolk SPCA.
Registration: $5 per dog (required for entry), cash only on the day of event.
