Effective August 19 – September 2, the pool will be open 10 AM – 7 PM daily. These hours are based on lifeguard availability and may change. Feel free to call the pool desk at 757-904-6057 to verify they’re open.

Report car vandalism
There was a lot of car vandalism in Ghent Square and surrounding neighborhoods this past week. Please call in every act of vandalism so there’s a police record of this happening. That will hopefully increase police patrols in our area. The police asked all victims to report vandalism by calling 757-664-7000 or 757-441-5610 or report
Streetlight Still Out?
Please call Dominion Energy at (866) 366-4357 if you see a streetlight that’s not working. They’re responsible for the repair of all streetlights and watch lights in the City of Norfolk. If the streetlight behind your house is on Ghent Square property, it’s probably a watch light. Contact management by sending an email to lrattan@communitygroup.com.
Oscar talks trash
We kindly remind you to place your trash at the curbside no earlier than 5 PM on Monday evenings and remove them by 11:30 PM Tuesday. Bulk trash pickup should be scheduled no later than 3 PM on Mondays. To maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic of our neighborhood, we ask that you refrain from leaving
Playground closed this weekend
The Ghent Square playground will be closed for surface repairs Friday-Sunday, April 12 -14, 2024. It is imperative that nobody walks on the spongy surface while the repairs dry.
Coordinate some fun

AAA Pools is making repairs to our pool, EarthScapes is spreading mulch and planting flowers, and the Architectural Review Board is about to start inspections. If you swim laps, you can easily become a lifeguard at the Ghent Square pool. We’ll really need you mid-August when the high school lifeguards go back to school.
