Travel Book Club – February

The travel book club welcomes new members who like to read non-fiction or fiction accounts of travel, journeys and adventure. The club is co-ed and currently has about a dozen members. It meets on the fourth Monday most months at 7 pm in the Ghent Square clubhouse. Meetings last about 90 minutes. Everybody gets to suggest a book they would like people to read, and then when it is their month, they lead the discussion. The commitment is to lead one discussion a year. Our meetings also include photos from a member’s recent trip and cookies and wine. Books coming up this year include Baghdad without a Map, Last Train to Paradise, Eat Pray Love, Death on the Nile and Travels with Charley.
