Ghent Square Pool

The Ghent Square Pool opens Memorial Day weekend and closes Labor Day weekend. At 180,000 gallons, our half-Olympic size pool can offer up to six lanes for lap swim. In addition to the main pool, there is a smaller wading pool for our younger members to enjoy. Other amenities at the Ghent Square Pool include ping-pong tables, lawn sports, and a grill that is available to use anytime the pool is open.

Access to the Ghent Square pool is limited to Ghent Square residents and Full Affiliate Members. Each property owner or affiliate account is permitted up to four (4) daily guests.

Pool Party Rental Guidelines

The pool is available for private social use by Ghent Square residents. Pool parties may be reserved and paid for online by logging into your TownSq account. Once reservation is submitted, please download and return completed rental agreeement to the Association Manager at the Ghent Square office. A resident must sign the Rental Agreement and Release form and attend the event in its entirety. In the event of an emergency, contact 911 and GSCA Board President Steve Roche at (248) 761-8481.

  1. The $100 pool rental fee includes entrance fees for up to 20 guests. No more than 20 guests may be in attendance during
regular pool hours. Up to 50 guests are allowed after hours. A separate $100 security deposit must be provided in advance of the event.
  2. Pool rental during pool hours takes place in the green space behind the diving board. We provide one white 10’x10’ party tent and one folding table. Chairs are not provided.
  3. Pool parties after hours require the resident to hire a minimum of two (2) GSCA lifeguards. It is the resident’s responsibility to check with the lifeguards regarding their availability and current hourly
    rates.
  4. The arrangement and payment of the Association lifeguards is the responsibility of the resident on the same evening at the function.
  5. In the event of cancellation with less than 48-hours notice (except due to inclement weather), the
assigned lifeguards must be paid a minimum of a one-hour fee each.
  6. All outdoor music is prohibited.
  7. Functions must end promptly at 10:00 PM. Everyone must be off the premises (pool and parking lot) by 10:45 PM or lose their deposit.
  8. Lifeguards have been instructed to enforce these rules and will call the Association Manager, or a Board Member, if necessary.
  9. Any damage to the pool, facilities, or furnishings will result in forfeiture of the deposit and will require the resident or to pay for repairs in excess of the deposit and may result in loss or suspension of rental privileges.
